The original antenna was made out of rubber and after 3 years just ripped for no reason. This replacement antenna was made of some kind of web material that is almost indestructible. Will be buying more to replace antennas as they become unusable. This was my first time at replacing an antenna and took me longer than I thought it should. Next replacement will take about half the time as I know what to do now. This product is worth the money and Buzzard Roost was Johnny on the spot at getting the item shipped. Totally satisfied with experience.

This aftermarket gps has stronger signal than the factory Garmin gps.
Also with the gps wire running inside a double lprotective layer it is unlikely to break life the factory gps wire does.
