This antenna definitely is tougher than the ones that come on the collars and helps with better reception. I have noticed that my communication stays up better with these as well. The only bad thing is that is brings down the battery life a lot quicker than the original antenna. I had some collars go dead the other day right at dark and the collars I had with the original antenna still had 2 bars of battery life still left. Overall they are better, I just need to catch up a little sooner.

Modified a dc30 with the supra- tuff long range antenna. Ii hunt hogs in a 300 ft creek bed, with 200-300 ft inlets feeding the main creek. So reception has always been an issue for me, hunted Friday nite and no drops or issues. Dogs were out 500-600 yards which was unachievable with stock hardware on the collars. Highly recomend this antenna
