This is a brand new GPS antenna for your Garmin DC50. These are a direct replacement and require no soldering. Other than the few screws required to get the housing apart it is plug and play. Sleeve is made of a quality woven material to hold up to abuse and will not dry rot like the Garmin antennas.

Comes as advertised, which in and of itself is refreshing! A little difficult for old hands to manage small screws, but got the new antenna installed and it worked first try
Only suggestion is add a small tube of silicone for sealing the connection!
