Garmin Can Get You Anywhere in the World

We are proud to offer raccoon hunters and dog trainers a wide selection of products from Garmin, including the Garmin Astro and Garmin Drive Track as well as a host of GPS Garmin accessories. If you aren’t already impressed with the quality and effectiveness of the gear Garmin produces, you probably will be when you learn a bit about the company behind it.

Last year, the company came in at number 5 on the 2019 Forbes list of America’s Best Large Employers. (And when they say “large employers” they aren’t kidding. Garmin has more than 145,000 people working in 65 offices located all around the world.) They also made Forbes’ list of the Best Employers for Diversity in 2019.

3 Things We Love About Garmin

When you’re talking about Garmin, there’s a lot to admire. Of course, we particularly love the products they make for sportsmen and dog trainers, but that’s just one part of a huge effort. In fact, you might be surprised to find out how many pies Garmin has its fingers in – from flight scheduling equipment to fashion smartwatches.

When it comes to the overall company, though, there are a few things that stand out for us:

  1. Garmin is innovative. If you use the Garmin 320 or the Garmin TT15, you’ll know what we mean. And their vision is to keep working to develop new products that “will be sought after for their compelling design, superior quality and best value.”
  2. Garmin believes in honesty, integrity and respect. That applies to their employees, their leadership, their partners and the way they treat their customers.
  3. Garmin is socially responsible. The company is committed to protecting our planet and empowering people and communities. Their product design principles are focused on creating environmentally conscious products with minimal environmental impact throughout their life cycles. They are big on recycling, supporting the recovery and reuse of valuable materials. They also take human rights seriously and expect their suppliers around the world to adhere to the highest ethical, social and environmental business practices.
